Chicago State University has complied with a directive from US Magistrate Jeffrey Gilbert to make President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s academic records public.
The request for this release was initiated by Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who alleged that President Tinubu submitted a falsified academic record to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during his candidacy.
In accordance with the court’s decision, Chicago State University has provided Atiku Abubakar with President Tinubu’s academic records, as well as samples of certificates issued to other graduates in 1979.
