Political Leaders Extend Heartfelt Eid-El-Maulud Congratulations, Advocate Peace and Unity

In a show of unity and goodwill, political leaders nationwide, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio and several state governors, have conveyed warm wishes to the Muslim community on the festive occasion of Eid-El-Maulud, commemorating Prophet Mohammed’s birth.

In their messages, these leaders have emphasized the crucial values of prayer, peace, and unity in these challenging times. Senate President Godswill Akpabio, speaking through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon Eseme Eyiboh, commended Prophet Mohammed’s enduring positive influence on humanity, urging his followers to follow his example.

Akpabio underscored the importance of supporting authority and called on the faithful to intensify their prayers for those in leadership roles and the nation as a whole. He stated, “The Holy Prophet’s birthday serves as a reminder to all Islamic adherents to recommit to prayerful support for those in authority and the nation.”

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State called on Muslims to fervently pray for peace and progress, emphasizing the opportunity to draw lessons from Prophet Mohammed’s virtues in the reconstruction of communities and local economies.
