APC Chieftain to Atiku: “Forgive Tinubu to Prevent Global Shame”

Abia State’s APC Youth Leader, Hyde Kalu, implores Atiku Abubakar to drop his US court case against Tinubu to avert international embarrassment stemming from Tinubu’s academic dispute.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Leader in Abia State, Hyde Kalu has issued a heartfelt plea to former PDP Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar.

Kalu implores Atiku to withdraw his ongoing US court case against Bola Ahmed Tinubu, citing the potential for substantial global embarrassment for Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar initiated the legal proceedings in a US court, seeking the release of Tinubu’s academic records from Chicago State University. His persistent pursuit of alleged controversies surrounding Tinubu’s educational qualifications in the United States has led to growing attention and concern.

Hyde Kalu underscores the urgency of extending an olive branch to Atiku, stating, “The issue has already attracted adverse attention within Nigeria and internationally, and Atiku should spare the country from this humiliation.” Kalu adds, “It is regrettable that Nigeria’s reputation has been tarnished on the global stage.”

Kalu goes on to emphasize Atiku’s statesmanship and love for Nigeria. He asserts, “I believe no Nigerian takes pleasure in witnessing our nation being ridiculed due to the US court ruling.” Kalu urges Atiku to reconsider his pursuit of the case, emphasizing the need to handle the matter privately to prevent further embarrassment to Nigeria.

Furthermore, Kalu contends that it is time to acknowledge the conclusion of the elections and accept the prevailing circumstances for the sake of the nation. He states, “The elections have concluded, and a president has been elected. We are all human, which is why I implore Atiku to discontinue the case in the United States, considering the friendship between him and President Tinubu.”

This appeal comes after Bola Ahmed Tinubu himself had pleaded for mercy, asserting that he would suffer “severe and irreplaceable damage” if the magistrate court’s order were granted.

Nevertheless, Atiku Abubakar remains steadfast in his determination to uncover the alleged controversies surrounding Tinubu’s academic credentials.
