In numbers too vast to count, political titans, influential business associates, traditional rulers, intimate friends, and beloved family members streamed in, all united by their desire to witness and pay homage during these poignant closing moments.

The seamlessly executed traditions of the funeral mass unfolded with grace and precision, a testimony to the deep respect and honor bestowed upon Chief Victor Bala Kona.

As the final benedictions were offered, the gathered multitude watched in reverent silence as the casket, cradling the remains of the illustrious statesman, commenced its journey to the final resting place.

At the graveside, amidst a tableau of vibrant but mournful colors, the unmistakable flag of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) billowed in the breeze.

It was a poignant symbol, signifying Chief Kona’s profound prominence and unwavering commitment to the party’s principles throughout his storied career.

This grand occasion drew an illustrious gathering of high-profile personalities. Among them stood the acting national PDP chairman, flanked by his deputy, the executive governor of Taraba state, and representatives of the former Vice-President of Nigeria, the Atiku Abubakar.

Additionally, the representative of the governor of Adamawa state, the national youth leader of PDP, distinguished senators, and an array of influential political stalwarts graced the event with their presence.

Their attendance bore eloquent testimony to the far-reaching impact of Chief Victor Bala Kona’s illustrious political career.
