PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS KHALIL SULEIMAN HALILU AS NEW NASENI CEO
President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu as the new Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).
In a State House Press Release, signed by the Special Adviser to the President Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale indicates the appointment, in accordance with the NASENI Act of 2014, grants Mr. Halilu an initial five-year term in this significant national role.
At just 32 years old, he is expected to bring a wealth of experience as an innovator and technology expert to the position.
This development marks the end of Dr. Bashir Gwandu’s tenure as EVC/CEO of NASENI, as per the President’s directive.
The appointment of Khalil Suleiman Halilu to assume his duties takes immediate effect.
The statement adds that the appointment of the 32 Khalil Halilu reflects President Tinubu’s dedication to advancing science and engineering within the nation.
