In a solemn ceremony held at the President’s office, President Bola Tinubu, on Monday adorned the Chief of Defense Staff, Major General Christopher Musa, alongside the Chiefs of Army, Naval, and Air Staff with their well-deserved new ranks.
The decoration took place six weeks after their appointment on June 19, 2023. The honored recipients of new ranks are Major General Taoreed Lagbaja as Chief of Army Staff, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla as Chief of Naval Staff, and Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar as Chief of Air Staff.
Among the dignitaries present were Vice President Kashim Shettima, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, and the families of the esteemed service chiefs.
