THE UPPER CHAMBERS: AKPABIO UNVEILS SENATE PRINCIPAL OFFICERS

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has announced the names of the leaders of the tenth Senate majority caucus.

Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, will serve as the Senate Majority Leader, representing Ekiti Central.
Senator David Umahi, representing Ebonyi South, has been appointed as the Deputy Majority Leader.
Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume, a former Majority Leader in the 8th Senate and representative of Borno South, assumes the role of Senate Majority Whip.
Additionally, Senator Lola Ashiru, representing Kwara South, has been appointed as the Deputy Majority Whip.
“The All Progressives Congress caucus of the Senate after consultations, has emerged with their leadership which will be the fulcrum of commencing other businesses of the chamber.’ Akpabio stated.
