Anambra explores LAGFERRY transport

Anambra State Officials Seek Inspiration from LAGFERRY’s Multi-Modal Transport Success
In a recent demonstration of inter-state collaboration, a delegation from the Anambra State Government’s Transport Department embarked on a fact-finding mission to Lagos State to learn from the successful implementation of the customized Multi-Modal Transport System.
This comprehensive system seamlessly integrates various modes of transportation, including road (BRT, LAGRIDE, First Mile – Last Mile Bus), rail (Blue Line & Red Line), and water (LAGFERRY).
The Commissioner for Transport in Anambra State, Barr. Patricia Ifeoma Igwebuike, led the delegation, which included officials from Local Government and Community Affairs, as well as other state representatives.
They received a warm welcome from the LAGFERRY management and operations team at the stunning Five Cowries Terminal, Falomo-Ikoyi, where they gained valuable insights into operational procedures. During their visit, they also had the opportunity to enjoy a picturesque coastal voyage, taking in the natural beauty of Lagos State.
In a gesture of goodwill, the Anambra Delegation was presented with high-quality life jackets on behalf of their state, symbolizing the positive exchange and enriching experience during their visit.
