TINUBU’S EDUCATIONAL CONTROVERSY -ABUBAKAR QUESTIONS

Atiku Abubakar Expresses Bewilderment Over Tinubu’s Educational Claims

In a surprising turn of events, former Nigeria’s Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar took to Twitter to express his confusion regarding the educational journey of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Atiku’s tweet was directed at the discrepancy at the latter’s educational background.

In his tweet, Atiku Abubakar began by stating, “I woke up this morning wondering how we got to this cul de sac.” He went on to recount an assertion made by Tinubu back in 1999.

President Tinubu claimed attendance at St. John’s Primary School in Aroloya, Lagos, followed by Children Home School in Ibadan. His educational journey then supposedly led to Government College Ibadan, Richard Daley College, and eventually Chicago State University in the United States.

However, what raised eyebrows is his recent statement in 2023, which indicated that he only attended Chicago State university.

Atiku’s bewilderment was evident as he questioned the feasibility of such a drastic change in educational history, “Curiously, in 2023, Tinubu settled with attending only Chicago State university, I am scratching my head. How is that possible?”

The former Vice President didn’t stop there. He expressed his doubts about the conflicting claims, emphasizing that many Nigerians, like himself, might share the same confusion. He pondered the inconsistency of the individual’s declaration that he had bypassed primary and secondary education, yet managed to acquire a university degree.

Atiku Abubakar’s tweet concluded with a call to action, encouraging his followers to join him in seeking an explanation. “Methinks that all well-meaning Nigerians should be as confused as I am with Tinubu’s declaration,” he stated. He urged president Tinubu who has garnered attention for his educational journey, to shed light on the matter. Atiku humorously added, “You may wish to ask Tinubu how he attained this feat so that we can learn from his ingenuity.”

As this intriguing dialogue unfolds, Nigerians are left pondering the mysteries behind educational claims and transformations. It remains to be seen if the individual in question will respond to Atiku Abubakar’s call for clarification.
