Governor Zulum Supports Wounded Soldiers

Governor Zulum Releases N10m to Wounded Soldiers in Borno

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has granted 10 million naira to wounded soldiers in Borno as part of his commitment to their welfare. 

 

This pledge was made two months ago during a Sallah event organized by the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja.

The relief package was delivered by the Borno State Commissioner of Information and Internal Security, Professor Usman A Tar, along with Government House’s Permanent Secretary, Barrister Mustapha Ali Busuguma, to the GOC 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Peter Malla, on August 19, 2023.

Governor Zulum reaffirmed his dedication to supporting troops and enhancing their well-being.

The Governor also applaud the military for safeguarding Nigeria’s borders and maintaining peace in Borno.

The GOC 7 Division, Major General Peter Malla expressed gratitude for the Governor’s gesture and assured ongoing efforts to sustain peace by eliminating remaining insurgents.
